Candle Saftey Tips
- Before lighting, trim wick to 1/4 inch to prevent excessive flame and soot.
- Always burn candles in a well-ventilated room.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Never have a burning candle on or near anything that can catch on fire.
- Never move or touch a candle that is burning or while wax is liquefied.
- Never use a candle at times when you may fall asleep.
- Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
- Keep candles away from drafts, such as open windows or air conditioning vents.
- Do not burn a candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
- If candle flame becomes too high or is flickering repeatedly, extinguish it immediately.
- Do not burn candle all the way down. Leave about 1/2 inch to 1/4 inch of wax to remain, to prevent possible heat damage.
- Use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame.
- Ensure candle is completely out when extinguishing it.
- Do not touch or move candle until it has cooled completely.
